Trip to lake Svetloyar

 

Weekend, July 6-7. there was a trip to the lake Svetloyar, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The history of the lake has many legends, local places and healing waters renowned for their miraculous powers.

Days 6-7 July was not chosen by accident-6 July celebrates the day of the Vladimir icon of the mother of God. The village, near which is a lake, called Vladimir. The morning held a solemn service, and then through the streets of the village, there is a procession – bear icon of the Vladimir mother of God to the lake. From all over Russia, CIS and far abroad are pulled together here in these days of the pilgrims, people who want to heal, to touch the relics, to get help. And these are people of different religions, because the lake is what unites them all and helps his miraculous power. The procession moves along the Avenue of birch trees, to the wooden Church of the Kazan mother of God, which is located on the hill near the lake. There is a prayer service, people are attached to the face of the Vladimir mother of God. Then everyone walks around the lake perimeter, in front of the priest with the icon. People go and pray, thinking of his own.

The uchar Waterfall – test for the brave…”

 

In the second issue of the Russian geographical magazine ’s Picturesque Russia”* in 2015 published an article about Altai biosphere reserve: “the Waterfall uchar – test for the bold…”

In each issue of the magazine, which is published once in two months, there is a heading called “the Protected area”, which tells about the national parks of our country. In this room were placed the articles of Tigireksky nature reserve, Altaisky and Katunsky biosphere reserves.

In the article on the Altai biosphere reserve “Waterfall uchar – test for the bold…” reserve staff told us about the biggest in the Altai mountains cascade waterfall uchar (Tulchinsky Big waterfall). This extraordinary work is located on the territory of the Altai nature reserve, on the right tributary of Chulyshman — the river Chulcha in 11-12 kilometers from its confluence with the Chulyshman. In 2011, the Association of tour operators has made a uchar in a list of 5 of the most hard-to-reach attractions of Russia. The route to the waterfall uchar – one of the six eco-educational routes allowed in the reserve to visit. The cleanest lake in the world

 

Situated in a National Park Nelson lakes(New Zealand), Blue lake, known as Rotomahana – holds the title of the cleanest lakes in the world. Scientific tests carried out in 2011 the new Zealand National Institute of water and atmospheric research (NIWA) showed that Rotomahana – pristine freshwater lake known to man.

According to research it was noted that visibility through the water is 80 meters.Blue lake is characterized by purple-blue shades which may be seen in clear water like this:

The lake is situated at an altitude of over kilometers above sea level, to be precise – 1200 meters. The water temperature is always within 5-8 degrees Celsius. Pure Blue lakes are sacred to local Maori tribes, and to enter into the lake is strictly prohibited. Even to make underwater photos, the authorities had negotiated with Maori representatives dive into the water.
